Today Grant turns three months old! And today is also his Grandma Gracie's birthday!
Our little fetus is finally done with the fourth trimester! (Happiest Baby on the Block)
Grant has found his hands and loves staring at them and putting them in his mouth. He is drooling a lot and starting to chew on his bottle and pacifier so it seems like it might be the beginning of teething (although the actual teeth may take some time.). He also loves chewing on his little Sophie the Giraffe teether. Can't quite figure out the big Sophie yet.
No official measurements this month but he was about 15 pounds recently. He is starting to outgrow some of his 3 month clothes and is wearing size two diapers.
He continues to smile, coo (a lot!) and sort of laugh. He still loves looking at fans. He loves laying down and kicking his legs. Starting to look like he wants to roll over. We started doing an "exercise" of pulling him up by his hands from laying down to a sitting position and he seems to like it. He does well sitting up in the Bumbo which helps me when I'm doing something around the house while he's awake. He's also starting to be carried in the Ergo without the infant insert.
I'm back at work which was so very hard. Just thinking about it in the days and weeks leading up to it would cause tears, but once Monday actually got here I did pretty well! It helps that I know Grant is in excellent hands with his Aunt Tania and I know she is loving spending this time with him too.
We are starting to get more comfortable taking him out places but we never seem to bring enough burp cloths or bibs!
Grant went to his first movie with his buddy Jonathan (The Hunger Games), took pictures in bluebonnets, took our first road trip to Wichita Falls for Easter, went to a concert in the park where we listened to music and watched Cousin Tyler run around and he also did the Cupid Shuffle with me. :). Grant also attended his first birthday party for his friend Parker where he bounced in a bounce house with his Daddy.
We are so lucky having this little guy in our family! We love him so!
